A wonderful two days of record breaking RoboCup Junior action took place on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of August at UTAS, Sandy Bay campus. The most number of teams, students and spectators at a Tasmanian RoboCup Junior event witnessed an amazing array of robots and their pround owners in a heated, yet convivial, competition.

The event also trialled some new features, including the Arts Lecture theatre for dance, as a trial run for the hosting of the Australian Open next year. Lots of positive comment about the changes and some constructive suggestions will ensure an exciting year ahead in preparation for the National event.
